Tico’s at a Glance

We began life in 2003 as a small batch artisan roastery at home in our garage in Stayton, a small town in Oregon’s beautiful Willamette Valley. With an intense grass-roots approach, our coffees gained an instant following. In 2004 we renovated and moved into a nearby old building, lovingly referred to as “the barn”.

We’re still totally captivated by the art of roasting great coffee while working in 3 key areas:

  • Wholesale partnerships with cafes, grocers, and restaurants
  • Online orders from coffee enthusiasts throughout North America
  • Fundraising opportunities with local non-profit organizations

Our restaurant and cafe customers offer dynamic meeting and eating spots that have revitalized commercial and neighborhood spaces. While each have their own style and offerings, there’s an underlying theme of service and appreciation for those who come through their doors, and a commitment to adding value to the neighborhoods and communities that surround them.

Our intent is to be an active contributor in the success of our customers and the success of our community. We’ve been fortunate to draw praise for our approach to sourcing and roasting artisan coffee, contributing to our customers’ success and our community involvement. In 2006 we received the “New Business of the Year” award presented by the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce. We’re continually motivated by fanatical customers and friends who make Tico’s part of their daily lives.

At Tico’s Coffee we’re obsessed with quality, customer driven, and community oriented. This truly is the core of our business.
