We began in 2003 as a small batch artisan roaster in our garage in Stayton, a small town in Oregon’s beautiful Willamette Valley. With an intense grass-roots approach our coffees gained an instant following that continues to grow. In 2004 we renovated and moved into a nearby old building, commonly referred to as “the barn”.  Since 2016, we've been roasting at "Plant 3", a humble building we purchase in the nearby town of Aumsville.

We’re still totally captivated by the art of roasting awesome coffee while focusing in 4 key areas:

• Wholesale partnerships with cafes and restaurants
• Online orders for coffee enthusiasts throughout North America
• Fundraising opportunities with local non-profit organizations
• Commercial coffee equipment recommendation and sales

Our restaurant and café customers offer dynamic meeting and eating spots that have revitalized commercial and neighborhood spaces. While each have their own styles and offerings, there’s an underlying theme of services and appreciation for those who come through their doors. And, there is a commitment to adding value to the neighborhoods and communities that surround them.

Our intent is to be an active contributor in the success of our wholesale customers and the success of our community. We’ve been fortunate to draw praise for our approach to sourcing and roasting artisan coffee, contributing to our customers’ success and our community involvement.

In 2006 we received the “New Business of the Year” award presented by the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce. We’re continually motivated by fanatical customers and friends who make Tico’s parts of their daily lives.
